SEO + growth consultant
Small business SEO that turns searches into customers
I'm Alex Anantiyo, an SEO and growth consultant with 11 years of experience. Whether you're launching a new site or need to get more from the one you have, I help local and owner-run businesses get found and turn those searches into calls, leads, and sales.

Proof it works
Search and growth results for real businesses
My goal isn't traffic. It's revenue.
Visibility that builds trust, not just traffic
Ranking for the wrong keywords brings vanity traffic: visitors who were never going to buy. And with AI Overviews, maps, reviews, and videos crowding the results page, reaching the right people is harder than ever.
It takes more than one approach. You need to show up in several places, and give people a reason to trust you once they find you.
That's why I don't judge every page by its search volume. I combine search data with what you already know about your customers, from analytics and CRM data to the questions your team hears every week. The result is content that works at every stage: it helps new customers find you, gives people who already know you a reason to choose you, and brings past customers back. Along the way, it shows search engines and AI tools what you're known for.

A plan with a finish line
No open-ended retainer to start. You get a clear plan, a defined scope, and the work done. I look beyond your website, too: your Google Business Profile, reviews, listings, AI search, paid search, and paid social all shape how customers find you.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does an SEO consultant cost for a small business?
My projects start at $750 for a Search Review, $2,500 for a Growth Blueprint, and $5,000 for a Build. Every project is priced up front with a defined scope and shaped around your business, so the final quote depends on your site and goals.
How long does it take to see results?
Quick wins, like a cleaned-up Google Business Profile, can show movement within a month. How fast depends on things like how many reviews you have and how good they are. New pages usually take three to six months to build traction, and competitive searches take longer. Your Growth Blueprint sets milestones so you know what to expect.
How do I measure success?
By the things that pay the bills: calls, form fills, bookings, and sales. I pull data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and your CRM or call tracking, like CallRail or Podio. If attribution is missing or messy, I set it up or fix it with Google Tag Manager and other tools, so we're never guessing at what's working.
Do I need a monthly retainer?
Not to get started. Depending on the state and size of your site and your budget, a Growth Blueprint usually takes 6 to 12 months to carry out, and each project has a defined scope and finish line. Once the foundation is in place, some businesses benefit from monthly consulting or optimization hours, and we can set that up if it makes sense.
Will SEO work for my business?
Not always, and I'll tell you if it won't. If your customers don't search for what you offer, or another channel would pay off faster, I'll say so and point you toward what will.
Do you only offer SEO services?
No. SEO is my core, but customers find and choose businesses in more than one place. I also work on content strategy, conversion and website optimization, paid search and paid social, Google Business Profiles, analytics and attribution, and small business systems that improve performance and workflow, like automated review requests. When a new site is needed, I build simple ones myself and work with trusted developers on more complex projects.
Do you work on paid search and paid social?
Yes. Depending on your goals, paid search and paid social can work alongside SEO or on their own. Either way, they need a strong website behind them, because people check you out before they buy. I can include them in your Search Review and Growth Blueprint, and help set up and improve campaigns.
Is SEO the same as answer engine optimization (AEO)?
No. They share many of the same principles, but they aren't the same thing. AI assistants and search engines don't surface information the same way, and AI assistants put more weight on third-party sentiment, like reviews and mentions, and on consistent information from multiple sources. So beyond your own website, you need clear, matching business details across the web and strong reviews. It's worth getting right: clicks from AI assistants tend to convert well.
Potential customers are searching. Can they find you?
Tell me about your business and what you want to fix. If it's a fit, I'll send a few notes and we'll set up a call.
